Our farm motto is super fresh and super tasty! Succulent mixed salad leaf is cut and supplied on the same day, and potatoes weekly harvested for that great 'just out of the ground taste'.
We grow our seasonal salad leaves in through ground cover both in outside beds, and in our large unheated polytunnel. We supply our Leaves from April - October. The leaves are picked by hand, and unwashed so they keep for a good 7 days in the fridge without losing quality.
Our potatoes are grown in the old walled garden - Charlottes, White Duke of York and Sharpe's Express. Hand sorted and bagged into 1kg or 500g bags.
If you live in between Gargunnock, Buchlyvie, Aberfoyle and Blairdrummond then you can order a weekly delivery direct to your door. We also supply a number of local shops and restaurants with our range of produce inc: Gargunnock Village Shop, Blairdrummond Smiddy, Rhubarb and Lime, the Woodhouse, Falleninch Farm Shop
Our Leckie Layer hens enjoy enviable housing in a light and airy A Listed steading with an outdoor run under a massive copper beech tree. Our ladies like to chat and meet people and lay deliciously tasty free range eggs.
The market garden at Leckie Leaves produces a tasty range of mixed leaf salad... Pak choi, Tatsoi, mizuna, rocket, mustard and oak leaf lettuce combine with edible petals and fragrant herbs to give you a salad that not only looks good but tastes great too. We don't wash our salad - kept in the refrigerator it has a best before date of 7 days from date of picking, so no waste.
